Original Richard General Contracting
In 1972, after working for another contractor, Richard Kane started his own business - then called Acoustic Ceilings by Richard. Another contractor, seeing Richards quickly growing client base, began advertising under the name Richard. Richard decided that since he was first, he would name his business Acoustic Ceilings by Original Richard.
At first, he worked out of his garage and had family members assisting as office help. The business quickly grew as customers saw the quality of his work and his attention to service. In 1990, Richard moved the business to its present location in Wilmington, California.
Initially Richard's business consisted mainly of installing acoustic ceilings. Over time as customers recognized the quality of his work and team, he branched out into the variety of general contracting services.
Today Original Richard offers a full spectrum of contracting services maintaining the attention to quality that is the foundation of his success.
